Heal Hemorrhoids The Homeopathic Way
Recognizing the beginning symptoms of hemorrhoids is the best way to start taking steps to get relief and heal hemorrhoids. Straining to push
bowels or regular pushing against the anus can cause the varicose veins in that area to become irritated. If not cared for properly, rectal
bleeding and soreness can occur. To avoid a doctor's visit, you can consider these seven tops to heal hemorrhoids at home.
Step 1 - Drink Your Water. That's right. When you drink enough water, it can work as a stool softner that costs nothing. Get 8 Glasses
of Water In Per Day.
Step 2 - Avoid Strenuous Exercise. We know working out for many people is a must. But strenuous exercises such as cycling and weight
lifting can cause excess strain on the muscles. Yoga, swimming and aerobics are excellent ways to get in a good workout when hemorrhoids are in
need of a break.
Step 3 - Try a Drugstore Hemorrhoid Relief. Available without a prescription, these treatments come in several varieties which include
creams, pads and ointments. Disposable pads are convenient and don't stain undergarments. You can wear a cream or use an ointment at any time but
then tend to work better at night while you're sleeping.
Step 4 - Take Care Wiping. In addition to wiping gently, you should avoid using toilet tissue or any other product that is color
treated, scented or has chemicals that can make your hemorrhoids worse. Moisten your toilet tissue or invest in a hypo-allergenic wipe such as
the ones used for diaper rash. These wipes should be flushable as well.
Step 5 - Consume Enough Fiber. When you were a growing up as a kid, mom said eat your fiber and she was exactly right. Not consuming
enough fiber can actually cause constipation and harder stools. Too little fiber in your diet can not only cause hard stools but also
constipation. Fresh fruits, vegetables, beans and peanut butter are all great sources of fiber to help keep you regular.
Step 6 - Try A Suppository. The cheapest item in this category is petroleum jelly. Many of the suppositories available over the counter
are made of the same type of ingredients. This means you can use an inexpensive generic brand and receive the same healing relief.
Step 7 - Give Yourself A Sitz Bath. Using warm water, not hot, fill your tub with 8 to 9 inches water and sit for 10 or 15 minutes. You
can repeat this process three times a day. One cup of Epsom salts can be added but if you are a diabetic or have any other chronic illness, check
with your physician first.
Although these seven steps are all great ways to heal hemorrhoids, they are no guarantee that you will be able to completely heal your
hemorrhoids or that they won't return. If your hemorrhoids have not healed fully within a few days, come back in the same amount of time or if
they become worse while you are treating them, do not hesitate to contact your physician and be seen for medical attention immediately.
